Shraddha Kapoor was born on 3 March, 1989 to the veteran actor, Shakti Kapoor and bollywood singer and actress Shivangi Kapoor. Her debut movie was Teen Patti (2010). The following year, she was seen in Luv Ka The End (2011). She rose to prominence for her portrayal as Arohi Keshav Shirke in the 2013 romantic musical Aashiqui 2, which emerged as her first commercial success venture in which she gained positive acclaims and numerous nominations including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress.
